Huge Win Gives Chance to Look Ahead

Barring some sort of horrific debacle, the Nuggets' win over Golden State tonight puts them firmly in place of the 8th seed in the playoffs. Denver's likely first-round opponent will be the New Orleans Hornets, led by solid yet underappreciated coach Byron Scott and superstar Chris Paul, not to mention the solid play by David West and a Peja Stojakovic resurgence. While the Nuggets would surely lose if they had to face San Antonio yet again, the Nuggets have a great chance against the talented young Hornets.
